April 30 has always been a day of memories with painful experience as the communist North Vietnamese soldiers took over Saigon. They also took away my freedom, my dreams and my future. For the first time in my young life, the reality of hopelessness became so real to me. I thank God for His protection during that unsettled and dangerous environment. I thank God for giving me another chance of life in Australia. I thank God for the honour of serving Him and Australia through The Salvation Army.
